You Fat Bastard
I’m quickly slipping back to where I was pre-Christmas, before I started the Get Fit Old Man blog. After the excess of the summer holiday, a calf injury, a slovenly attitude and too much socialising I find myself feeling fatter and more lethargic.

Recover After A Run With Swimming
When my legs are aching and feel stiff I like to recover after a run with swimming.
From now on I will alternate between the roads and the pool so that I ease by tired legs and recover after a run with swimming.
My First 10k Run
After two days recovering from my first run in ages I decided to try my first 10k run since returning to running. This was a tough lesson in biting off more than I can chew as the difference in distance was a problem. I learned some lessons and now have some great first 10k run tips to share with anyone preparing for the event.
