In the past I’ve lost weight and improved my health by swimming my way to fitness. It is easy on the legs and quite cathartic it making it the ideal way to workout after a run.
Once upon a time getting fit was easier for me due to the existance of a reasonably sized swimming pool within Banatynes Health Club Manchester which was ajacent to a previous workplace.
After taking my first steps to fitness with a New Years Day run and following that with a tough spinning session at home yesterday my legs were sore and stiff. I thought swimming would be the ideal way to ease the legs whilst keeping up my 2015 fitness regime.
I don’t have a gym membership so the only choice for a swim was my local swimming baths. In south Manchester we are blessed with a number of pools.
